IF BETHANY HOME NEEDS TO EVACUATE:
Bethany Home is prepared for and is drilled once a year for just an event.
We work with RI Dept. of Health and Long Term Mutual Aid Plan. RI Health, EMA, Providence Fire & Police with local LTCS and ALS and hospitals to assure residents safety.
We have three possible layover places we use. If evacuation is necessary:
Bethany Home and RI LTC-MAP will then evaluate best placement during this emergency. As part of our program there will be teams contacting families as soon as the resident is safe. There will be also an effort to keep all medical records secure (HIPAA)
